Keselowski Wins at Richmond for Second Straight Victory

April 30, 2010

RICHMOND, Va. (April 30, 2010) - Brad Keselowski scored his second consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series win for Penske Racing on Friday night by capturing the Bubba Burger 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

Keselowski drove the No. 22 car to Victory Circle in the debut race for sponsor Ruby Tuesday in a gutsy and convincing win. Just when it looked like Keselowski would easily make it two wins in a row after scoring his first victory for Penske Racing last weekend at Talladega, a caution flag fell just six laps from the finish to set up a shootout for the checkerdd flag.

Keselowski and crew chief Paul Wolfe made a bold call to pit for four tires as they surrendered the lead. Restarting the race from the fourth position, Keselowski raced back to the front and seized the win by .261-of-a-second over Gregg Biffle for his eighth career Nationwide Series victory.

"If we lost this race, and I didn't take tires, I'd be so mad," said Keselowski. "We came down pit road and got those tires and made the right move on Greg on the last lap, and it all worked out."

The result allowed Keselowski to build his lead in the championship standings as he now has a 59-point cushion over Kevin Harvick.

Penske Racing's Justin Allgaier also fought for the victory, though the No. 12 Verizon Dodge team opted to stay out on track during the final caution. Allgaier wound finishing 15th and remains fourth in the series standings.
