Team 42 Racing News and Notes of Interest
• Penske Racing development driver Parker Kligerman will attempt to make his sixth career NASCAR Nationwide Series start this weekend in the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
• This will be Kligerman's first race at the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway.
• Kligerman's last start in the Team 42 Racing Dodge Charger was at the Nationwide Series event at Talladega where he qualified a season high of ninth and finished 31st.
• In his last 25 stock car starts, including the Nationwide Series and the ARCA Re/Max Series, Kligerman has an average starting position of 8.8 and an average finish of 9.0.
• On October 3, 2009, Kligerman had a memorable Nationwide Series debut behind the wheel of the No. 22 Penske Truck Rental Dodge Charger at Kansas Speedway Kligerman won the pole for the Kansas Lottery 300 and led the first seven laps of the race before earning an impressive 16th-place result.
• Kligerman finished second in the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series championship, as he came up just five points shy of the series title. He won series Rookie of the Year honors and led the circuit with nine victories as he posted 14 top-five and 18 top-10 finishes in 21 races.
• Kligerman, a native of Westport, Conn., is in his freshman year of college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is planning a course of study in Business Marketing.

• The Auto-Net Auto Service 300 will be broadcast live on the ABC television network at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The race will also be broadcast on MRN Radio, as well as Sirius Satellite Radio, channel 128.

"I know its so cliché to say, but I am actually really excited to be racing in Charlotte this weekend. We will be running the same chassis that we raced in California and Las Vegas. Team 42, with an assist from Penske Racing, has updated the body on that car, which I think will help us find some speed on the race track. With that said, I know after our competitive run at Talladega, everyone at Team 42 is excited to get back to the track and get the results we know we can achieve."

"The NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Lowes Motor Speedway is an event Parker has been looking forward to for quite some time. Even last season, he kept bugging me about wanting to run at Charlotte as soon as possible. He feels the race track will fit his driving style and now he will get his chance. I think we will have a good outing this weekend. We have done quite a bit of updating and reconditioning on this particular car and the Team 42 guys have put in a great effort. There is always a high level of intensity and excitement around all the races here; it's pretty much the hometown track for so much of the NASCAR community. Everyone tries to bring their best game, because they know the value of backyard bragging rights. We will be ready; it should be fun to watch and a privilege to be a part of."
