DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 2, 2010) – Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger, scored his fourth pole position of the season for the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona International Speedway on Friday. The second consecutive pole award for Keselowski, the current series point leader welcomed young teammate Parker Kligerman in a Discount Tire front row as the two Penske drivers would lead the field to the green flag. Justin Allgaier qualified fourth in the Verizon Dodge.

In qualifying for the first race with the new Dodge Challenger, Keselowski posted a fast-lap time of 49.172 seconds at a speed of 183.031 mph placing him on top of the leader board.
“Man, what a fast car,” said Keselowski. “I’m really proud of everyone who helps put this Nationwide Discount Tire Dodge Challenger together. It’s an awesome race car. Our car is really fast and it’s a total team effort.

“We’re just trying to maximize what you can do with the car; maximize speed by hitting your shifts and hold your line. I was able to do that in qualifying. Having a fast car always makes the driver look good and our Discount Tire Dodge is fast.”

Coverage of the Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola airs live on Friday, July 2 on the ESPN television network beginning at 7:30 p.m. EDT. The event will also be broadcast live on MRN Radio.
