No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger…
The No. 22 Penske Racing Discount Tire Dodge Charger team will use chassis PRS-036 during Saturday’s second road course race of the season at Watkins Glen International (WGI). Keselowski drove this chassis to a fourth-place finish at Road America in June.
• The No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger in 2010... After 21 races, Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge team currently lead the Nationwide Series driver point standings by 231 points over second-place contender Carl Edwards. Keselowski has led the standings since his win at Talladega Superspeedway in April.
• Adding to the Record... By taking the checkered flag in last Saturday’s race at Iowa Speedway, Keselowski extended his NASCAR record with his 88th consecutive Nationwide Series race without a DNF (Did Not Finish).
• Series Leader… Keselowski leads the Nationwide Series in top-five finishes (15), top-10 finishes (18) and laps completed. He has completed all but one of the 3,955 laps contested this season and has led the field for 766 of those circuits.
• Paul Wolfe Homecoming… Crew chief Paul Wolfe will be making a return to his “home” track for the first time as a member of Penske Racing. Wolfe grew up 150 miles east of WGI in the town of Milford, NY. He has competed in one Nationwide Series race and four K&N Pro Series East (KNPSE) races at WGI. His best finish of third came in a KNPSE race in 2001.
• Road Course Stats… In seven career road course starts in the Nationwide Series, Keselowski has accumulated two top-five finishes and five top-10 finishes. His career-best road course finish came at Road America in June when he finished fourth.

Brad Keselowski on racing at Watkins Glen
“Watkins Glen is a track that I picked up on fairly quickly from the first time I raced there. It’s a ‘speedway type’ road course and that fits my driving style well. The Nationwide cars are a blast to drive at the Glen because they go through the corners so much faster than the Cup cars. You have to back up your braking points in a Cup car, but you can really race hard into the corner in a Nationwide car. I’ve been close to winning a road course race a couple of times in my career and I’m confident that we will have a shot at it this weekend.”

Brad Keselowski on the similarities/differences between Watkins Glen and Road America
“Road America and Watkins Glen are similar in some ways, but very different in others. The biggest difference is that the track is so much shorter at the Glen. We were running lap times well over two minutes at Road America where at the Glen the lap times that are roughly a minute shorter. The speeds, though, are very similar. Both are high-speed racetracks. We had a strong run in the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger at Road America and I think we can take something away from that for the race this weekend.”

Crew chief Paul Wolfe on Watkins Glen
“Watkins Glen is a lot of fun for both the driver and the crew chief. It’s a high-speed road course where aerodynamics really play a big role. Obviously you have to pay close attention to your brakes because there are long straightaways that lead into some heavy braking zones. You can heat up your brakes quickly. In the end, road course racing always comes down to pit strategy. You want to make your last stop as soon as you can. You will always see someone roll the dice to take a chance on getting a good finish. We were very competitive at Road America earlier this year. Our goal is to run in the top five again this weekend and challenge for the win at the end.”
