Hornish Qualifies Second at Richmond International Raceway

RICHMOND, Va. (April 29, 2011) – Sam Hornish, Jr. and the No. 12 Olympic Paints Dodge Challenger led the Penske Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying efforts for the Bubba Burger 250 at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday afternoon.
Hornish recorded the second fastest lap time during the qualifying session. He toured the 0.750-mile oval in 21.627 seconds, or 124.844 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate Brad Keselowski posted the tenth fastest lap in the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger.
"I'm really excited to start on the front row in the No. 12 Olympic Paints Dodge Challenger," said Hornish. "Practice didn't go exactly as we had planned but Chad (Walter) and the rest of the No. 12 crew made some really good changes between practice this morning and qualifying. The Olympic Paints Dodge looks really good and we hope the momentum continues into the race tonight and come home with first place finish."
The Bubba Burger 250 will air live at 7:30 pm EST on the SPEED Channel tonight. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite channel 128.
