Keselowski Qualifies Ninth At Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 24, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger will start ninth for the Drive4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway. He toured the 2.5-mile oval in 49.702 seconds, or 181.079 miles per hour.
Penske Racing teammate, Sam Hornish Jr., will start the race from the sixth position.
“I think our Dodges are pretty fast,” said Keselowski. “We were fast here last year with the Discount Tire Dodge Challenger and so far, we had pretty good pickup from where we were earlier in practice today. Sam (Hornish) looks like his car is plenty fast which is good. It’s a good start for the team. It’s not the race, but we’ll take that effort heading into tomorrow. It’s nice to know that we have some good speed.”
The Drive4COPD 300 will air live at 12:00 pm ET on ESPN. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite channel 90.
