Keslowski Qualifies 5th At Las Vegas Motor Speedway

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 10, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger will start fifth for the Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He toured the 1.5-mile oval in 29.905 seconds, or 180.572 miles per hour.
Penske Racing teammate, Sam Hornish Jr., will start the race from the 13th position.
“A pretty good lap for the Discount Tire Dodge Challenger,” said Keselowski. “We didn’t work too much on qualifying during practice so I’m happy with a top-five start. I’ve been very close to a win here at Las Vegas. Hopefully we can get that first one here today.”
The Sam’s Town 300 will air live at 5:00 pm ET on ESPN2. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite channel 90.
