Hornish to Start 10th in the 5-Hour Energy 200

Dover, Del. (June 2, 2012) - Sam Hornish, Jr., driver of the Penske Racing No. 12 WURTH Dodge Challenger, qualified 10th for Saturday afternoon’s 5 – Hour Energy 200 at Dover International Speedway.

Hornish turned a lap of 23.486 seconds around the “Monster Mile” at an average speed of 153.283 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate, Parker Kligerman qualified 12th in the No. 22 Snap-on Dodge.

“We are super happy with where we are at today versus where we were yesterday in terms of the car’s performance. Chad (Walter) and the crew made a lot of good changes to our WURTH Dodge Challenger. We have 200 laps to move forward and with some good work in the pits and smart driving we should have a great day.”

The 5 – Hour Energy 200 coverage will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN on Saturday, June 2. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
