Hornish Qualifies 4th for Feed the Children 300

SPARTA, Ky. (June 29, 2012) - Sam Hornish, Jr., driver of the Penske Racing No. 12 Wurth Dodge Challenger in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, qualified fourth for Friday evening’s Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway.
Hornish turned a lap of 31.732 seconds around the one point five mile speedway at an average speed of 170.175 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate, Brad Keselowski qualified third in the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge.
“The Wurth Dodge was pretty good for our qualifying lap,” said Hornish, “we were just a little too free into the corner and a bit loose off. My Penske Racing crew worked their butts off in this heat all day long and they have been giving me great race cars. We just need to be smart out there tonight and bring home another strong finish.”
Feed the Children 300 television coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 on Saturday, June 29. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
