No. 22 Snap-on Dodge Challenger News and Notes
• This Week’s Challenger… Brad Keselowski and the Penske Racing Snap-on Dodge Challenger team will use chassis PRS-225 during Saturday’s F.W. Webb 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). Keselowski drove this chassis to a seventh-place finish at Kentucky Speedway last month.
• The No. 22 Snap-on Dodge Challenger in 2012... Following 16 points-paying events, the No. 22 Snap-on Dodge team sits ninth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) owner point standings following a 35th-place finish at Daytona International Speedway last weekend.
• Keselowski Climbing the Charts… By taking the checkered flag in the History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, Keselowski remains in 15th place on the NNS all-time wins list with 18 victories. Keselowski is now two wins away from tying Greg Biffle for 14th place on the all-time list.
• Keselowski at NHMS: A Capsule… Keselowski has won consecutive pole awards at NHMS…Keselowski has never finished outside the top 10 in four career NNS starts at NHMS…Keselowski has completed every lap of competition in his four career starts at NHMS.
• Pole Position Streak… Keselowski has won the last two NNS pole positions at NHMS. No driver has ever won three-consecutive pole awards at the flat, one-mile oval.
• Keselowski Speedway Stats… In 123 speedway starts in the Nationwide Series, Keselowski has accumulated 12 wins, 54 top-five finishes, 76 top-10 results and eight pole awards. In addition, he has led the field for 2,065 laps at tracks between one and two miles in length.

At the end of each month, a Fan Photo of the Month will be selected from the weekly winners.  The best monthly photos will be voted on by @PenskeRacing followers to be named Fan Photo of the Year. The winner of Photo of the Year will receive the Ultimate Penske Racing Fan Experience including tickets and hot passes to the 2013 NASCAR All-Star Race, autographed items and a tour of the Penske Racing facility with a Penske driver.

“New Hampshire is a fun place to race because it’s one of those tracks where you are racing it as much as you are the competitors. It’s very hard to pass, especially in these Nationwide cars, because you get too loose underneath someone and you don’t have the power to beat them off the corner. You need to be able to maintain forward bite off the corner throughout the race to be successful. The fans in New Hampshire are some of the best on the circuit. We’ve had some really good cars there over the years, but we haven’t been able to close the deal with a win. I have a great team working on the Snap-on Dodge and I know they want to get a win at New Hampshire as much as I do. I’m confident we will have as good of a shot as anyone this weekend.”

“New Hampshire has long, flat corners and you tend to fight a tight-handling condition throughout the race. The key is to keep the car turning with good mechanical grip so as to not upset the aero platform. Even though it’s just over one mile in length, aerodynamics still play a big role in racing at New Hampshire. It’s a short race, so track position is very important. That hasn’t been a problem for Brad in the past as he is going for his third-consecutive pole there. He really has tremendous stats at New Hampshire. All that is missing is a win. Hopefully we can give him something to work with this weekend so that he can put that on his list of accomplishments.”
