MONTREAL - (August 17, 2012) – Sam Hornish, Jr. and the No. 12 Alliance Truck Parts Dodge Challenger team qualified  second for Saturday afternoon’s NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The result marks Hornish’s second consecutive
front row start.

“We definitely left some time out there today, said Hornish, I saw Jacques (Villeneuve) using the curb out there and thought I might try to use it a little too, but our car was not set-up for it and it cost us some time. I have to give full credit to the Alliance Truck Parts team and all of Penske Racing as they have been giving me great cars. We should be strong in the race tomorrow, we just need take care of our Dodge Challenger and be smart out there.”

The NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge will air live on ESPN at 2:00 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast on the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 90.
