Hornish to Start From the 14th Position at Dover

DOVER, Del. (September 29, 2012) – Sam Hornish, Jr. and the No. 12 Alliance Truck Parts Dodge Challenger team qualified in the 14th position for Saturday’s OneMain 200 at Dover International Speedway.
Hornish lapped the one-mile track in 23.530 seconds at 152.996 miles per hour, during the Saturday afternoon qualifying session; Penske Racing teammate Ryan Blaney qualified eighth in the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger.
“The Alliance Truck Parts Dodge was fairly tight during our qualifying run – I had to wait too long to get back to the throttle to put down a faster lap,” said Hornish. “We had a good Dodge Challenger in practice yesterday and we learned a few things that should help us in the race.”
The OneMain Financial 200 will air live at 3 p.m. ET Saturday on ESPN2. Race coverage will also be broadcast on the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 90.
