NO. 12 ALLIANCE TRUCK PARTS FORD MUSTANG

DRIVER: SAM HORNISH JR.

• SECOND FOR EIGHT: Through 16 races, Hornish has led the standings for seven races, held the second spot for eight races and fell to third for one race. He currently holds down the second position once again in the standings - six points behind leader Regan Smith.
• LEARNING TO LEAD: Hornish has led more laps this season (349) than he has in entire NASCAR Nationwide Series career.
• ONLY ONE OTHER: This will be just the second start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the Nationwide Series for Hornish. Last season he started sixth and finished fourth. He has eight Cup starts at the venue.
• DASH4CASH: Hornish is one of four drivers entered into the Nationwide Series Dash4Cash, which allows him the opportunity to earn $100,000 should he be the highest finishing Dash4Cash eligible driver. Look for a distinctive blue windshield decal and blue spoiler to identify the Alliance Truck Parts Ford Mustang as a Dash4Cash participant.
• STAT TO STAT: Approaching the halfway point of the 2013 Nationwide Series schedule - Hornish has a 6.2 average start and a 10.4 average finish.
• BACK ON SPEED CENTER: After taking a break from his analyst duties while home in Ohio for the recent Mid-west races - Hornish is back in front of the camera on SPEED Center on Sunday.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS HEADING INTO NEW HAMPSHIRE?
"We are looking forward to this race. This track is one that I genuinely enjoy as it demands a lot from the driver and the crew. The team is in a fantastic place right now and I feel good about our chances. I like this area a lot because of its beauty and the fans are passionate too. We are going to give it our best and hopefully get our Alliance Truck Parts Ford into victory circle."

BRIAN CAMPE, ENGINEER NO. 12 ALLIANCE TRUCK PARTS FORD
HOW DO YOU APPROACH THIS WEEKEND IN TERMS OF SET-UP?
"This has been our best short-track with Sam. We have run well here and the No. 22 team won this race last year. So we are combining our notes and taking advantage of the resources we have available to us in order to give ourselves the best shot at a strong performance in our Ford Mustang this weekend. Based on our recent trend of solid finishes we are looking to be up front at the end."

NO. 22 HERTZ FORD MUSTANG

DRIVER: JOEY LOGANO

• A VERY SPECIAL SCHEME: The Hertz Corporation, one of the world's leading car rental and transportation companies, will return to the side of the No. 22 Ford Mustang this weekend. But the look will be different. It will look remarkably like the recently announced Hertz Penske GT Mustang rental car that you can get at select Hertz locations around the country. Logano was part of an announcement last week to debut both the paint scheme and the Hertz Penske GT to the public. The special addition Mustang features several performance upgrades.
• WINNING IN THE NNS AT NHMS: New Hampshire Motor Speedway is one of the tracks that Logano has won at in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition but not in Nationwide Series competition. Logano has been close though. He started on the pole and finished second in 2009 and finished fourth in 2010. Last season, Logano was running in the top-five with less than five laps to go before being wrecked by a competitor, eventually finishing 29th.
• SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Logano will partake in a special press conference at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway Media Center on Friday morning (July 12) at 9:30am. Logano will announce the launch of a new organization and will be joined by members of the NASCAR Foundation and Shell Oil Company.
• IMPRESSIVE STATS: It's no secret that Logano's NASCAR Nationwide Series career has been very successful, but one of the most impressive stats may be that Logano has been running at the end of 111 of his 116 career races - only five DNFs.

JOEY LOGANO, NO. 22 HERTZ FORD
HOW SPECIAL WOULD IT BE TO WIN AT NHMS?
"This really is what I consider my ‘home track' on the scheduled. It's the closest that we come to my hometown of Middletown, Connecticut, so being able to win here would be pretty cool. Thankfully I've won a Sprint Cup Series race there, but I'd love to add a Nationwide Series win. The No. 22 has been pretty good there the last couple of years, so that bodes well for sure."

WHAT HAS BEEN THE KEY TO THE 22 TEAM'S SUCCESS THIS YEAR?
"I would say Jeremy Bullins (crew chief) and the guys on the team. They have been spot on. They worked through some issues earlier in the year and it's been clicking as of late. It hasn't mattered if it's me or Brad (Keselowski) or AJ (Allmendinger) in the car, we are running really good. And Jeremy leads that group and the guys at the track make sure everything is in order. But from the shop back in Mooresville to the track, it goes back to the people who work on these Ford Mustangs."
