August 3, 2013
NEWTON, Iowa (August 3, 2013) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang team will start from fifth position for tonight’s US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway.
Keselowski toured the 7/8 mile speedway in 23.393 seconds at an average speed of 134.656 miles per hour during the afternoon qualifying session. Penske Racing teammate, Sam Hornish Jr. will start 14th in the Penske Truck Rental Ford Mustang.
“That was a respectable lap for our Discount Tire Ford,” said Keselowski. “We worked on race set-up during our only practice session yesterday and we feel as though we have something to work with in the race tonight. I know this team will do everything they can to get us up front and it should be a great race.”
The US Cellular 250 will air live tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET ESPN2. Race coverage will also be broadcast on the MRN and SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 90.
