Recap:  Brad Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang qualified up front, but had to start from the back and eventually finished second on Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway.  Keselowski qualified second for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 but had to drop to the back of the field before the green after changing the fuel pump following qualifying. It took little time for Keselowski to race his way to the front, getting to the lead just 48 laps into the event.  Keselowski ran in the top-10 for the remainder of the night – leading 56 laps overall. After falling back to ninth late in the race following an unscheduled pit stop, Keselowski once again raced back to the front and battled side-by-side with eventual winner Eric Jones following a late restart, but had to settle for second as the checkers flew.  The solid result allows the Discount Tire Ford team to maintain its lead in the XFINITY Series Owners' standings with a nine point advantage over the No. 88 of JR Motorsports.

Quote: "We ran wide-open there and that's always cool when you're running wide-open in one of these things side-by-side and it was just a matter of who was gonna lift first.  Neither of us lifted and he (Jones) just cleared me and drove by me.  It's just part of the deal.  He had a great car and Erik did a really fantastic job today, but we just came up a bit short today.  I thought we were pretty strong at times and maybe had something for him.  We got a little bit of damage on that last pit stop cycle, which I think probably hurt us a little bit, but who knows?  All in all it was a good race, kind of up and down and recovering from some different track position battles with the start of the race and then when someone got off in the grass in front of me on one of the cycles there and had to pit and clear that off.  It was up and down and we just barely missed it there at the end."
