Recap:  Ryan Blaney qualified third for Saturday afternoon's Mid-Ohio Challenge at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang.  It was an impressive run for the 22-year-old driver considering Friday was the first time he's seen the 2.4-mile road course.  Blaney found himself in the top-five during both Friday practice sessions and backed it up in qualifying, timing in fourth quick in the first round despite having to make two runs with rain approaching the track.  Blaney held the second spot in the final session but eventually got bumped to third late.  It ties where he started at Road America last season, his only career NASCAR XFINITY Series road course start to date.  He would go on to finish second in that race.
