Recap:  Joey Logano continued a week-long string of second-place finishes, coming home in the runner-up position in Saturday afternoon's Powershares QQQ 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona International Speedway.  Logano started the race from the eighth position and quickly worked his way to the front, taking the lead for the first time on lap three and running our front for the next 11 laps.  Logano proved to be a master of the draft all afternoon long, despite falling back in the pack of a couple of times during the first portion of the race.  Falling as far back as 16th, Logano would maneuver his No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang back to the front with drafting help from a number of different drivers throughout the day.  On a couple of occasions, Logano got stuck behind a slower car and lost several positions only to race his way back toward the front.  Logano led for 22 laps late in the going before a final round of green-flag pit stops shuffled the field once again.  Following a late-race restart, Logano slipped back to eighth, but over the final laps of the race made a spirited charge to get back to second with drafting help from Kasey Kahne.  Coming to the checkers, Logano pushed leader Chase Elliott clear of the field and made a valiant charge at the lead, jumping to the outside of Elliott coming to the line. The two drivers made lots of contact but kept their cars under control, with Logano coming home second just 0.043 seconds behind Elliott.  Logano also finished second in last weekend's Sprint Unlimited event and Thursday's Can-Am Duel race number one.
 
Quote:  "The plan was to make the move off of four and going to the top he blocked the first move and wiggled to the bottom and back to the top. At that point it is a little late and then we touched each other and that is the killer. Once we had that touch it killed our momentum and I couldn't pull him back enough to get in front of him. It is three races and three seconds and I guess it is nothing to hold your head down about but gosh, when you see the lead that many times and are that close to winning and don't pull it off it's frustrating. It was a fast Discount Tire Mustang and we showed that plenty of times. We were able to make moves with this thing that other people couldn't. I am proud of the gains we made."
