Recap:  Joey Logano wheeled the blue and white liveried No. 22 SKF Ford Mustang to a fifth place finish after starting fifth in the inaugural Pocono Green 250 at Pocono Raceway on Saturday afternoon. The race was cut short just after halfway as persistent precipitation moved into the area bringing a halt to an event filled with early excitement and a variation of strategy.  Logano and crew chief Brian Wilson were among the first competitors to entertain an alternate strategy as they opted to stay on the track at the Lap 15 competition caution. Logano and company were joined by the No. 3 of Ty Dillon at the front of the field for the ensuing restart. On the restart, Logano was the recipient of a monumental push from eventual race winner Kyle Larson propelling the SKF Ford Mustang to the lead. Logano would lead the event for seven laps, running in the top-five for the majority of the event. The race was slowed by caution five times, the fifth and final for rain which brought the premature end to the first NASCAR XFINITY Series race at the 2.5-mile triangle, despite NASCAR's two-hour effort to dry the track.

Quote: "We were trying to be off strategy. Our SKF Ford Mustang wasn't as fast as it needed to be so we were trying to do anything we could to win it. The Gibbs cars were obviously really fast and they are having a hard time passing which I thought would be easier for them. It was interesting for sure. It would have been interesting to see what would happen if we were able to go back green."
