Recap: Ryan Blaney had an up-and-down race behind the wheel of the No. 22 Rev Group Ford Mustang, eventually coming home in the fourth position in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series Ford EcoBoost 300 at  Homestead – Miami Speedway. The 22-year old driver started the 200 lap event from the fourth position and once the green flag dropped, Blaney moved to the second position.  On the long green run, the No. 22 Ford Mustang started to become tight and Blaney began losing positions in the middle portion of long green flag runs. Falling back as far as 17th, crew chief Greg Erwin made major adjustments throughout the race to help Blaney's center turn in the midst of long green flag runs. During the last pit stop on lap 193, the 22 crew had a stellar stop gaining Blaney four positions on pit road. Blaney would restart the race from the 11th position. Once the race resumed, the top lane stacked and Blaney was able to battle his way to the fourth position as the checkered flag flew.  The fourth-place finish was Blaney's fourth top-five this season in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and his sixth top-10 finish.

Quote "I didn't really think we were that great all night.  Maybe 30 laps into a run we were OK, but by that time we would lose 20 seconds, so you can't really have that happen.  We were just really tight.  I'm not sure what happened overnight.  We were really loose yesterday and I know we did some things to help that, but I didn't think it was gonna be that much.  It's something we've got to go back and look at and try to get better. We just got lucky at the last restart and luckily we just weren't in the wrong lane and we got a decent restart."
