New Partnership for Fabian Coulthard in Townsville
July 6, 2016
Gold Coast, 5 July, 2016: DJR Team Penske will be on track at the Townsville 400 with one of the most colourful liveries seen to date on the team's Ford V8 Supercar. The pink and black colours of Hog's Breath will be seen on the No 12 Fabian Coulthard driven car, as the popular restaurant group becomes the primary partner for the North Queensland round.
Hog's Breath has motor racing in its DNA and the Aussie steakhouse has enjoyed an increased commitment to DJR Team Penske in 2016. The pink and black livery will hit the track on the streets of Townsville as Coulthard aims for a strong result after a setback in Darwin.
"We're always pushing the boundaries of sponsorship and what better way than having the Hog's brand as the primary partner on Fabian's Ford," said Hog's Breath Marketing Director, Greg 'Disco' Miller.
"The Townsville round of the Championship is always a cracker of an event and we love having Hog's on show at such a great family event."
DJR Team Penske Managing Director Ryan Story said Hog's Breath has already injected some fun into the team during the 2016 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
"Hog's is a great Aussie-grown company. To head to the Townsville 400 with the Hog's livery on Fabian's car will be a great talking point. We are sure that our fans will enjoy the fun that the Hog's brand and of course the 'Hogster' bring to the event. Hog's first restaurant was at Airlie Beach, so the joining of two Queensland icons is a great thing for our team," Story commented.
About Hog's Australia's Steakhouse
Our founding father and original Boss Hog, Don Algie, was sailing along the Queensland Coast and settled into the idyllic surrounds of the Whitsunday Islands. Soon after, he opened the doors of the first Hog's Breath Restaurant right there in Airlie Beach some 26 years ago. In November the following year, a second store was opened in Mooloolaba and ever since, additional stores have followed. There are now over 80 locations currently around Australia and New Zealand and we're still growing!
