Practice Recap: The MAN Truck and Bus Fords of Fabian Coulthard and Scott Pye have finished in strong positions in practice today for the Sydney SuperSprint. Coulthard was the quicker with a last lap dash moving him into fifth place overall. Pye also improved and finished just outside the Top 10 in position twelve.

The times were very close with less than one second separating the first twenty two cars. The first session saw the cars running through a number of changes, but a light shower of rain shortened the available track time.

The afternoon session was run in fine conditions and both MAN Truck & Bus Fords were showing good pace throughout the one hour practice. In the end Fabian Coulthard move the No 12 Ford into position five with Scott Pye just a few tenths behind in twelfth spot.   

Fabian Coulthard Quote: "We tried a few things today as part of our practice program which were a little different, and hopefully it pays dividends tomorrow. The MAN Ford responded well to the changes over the day but with the times being so competitive you don't have to do much wrong to lose a heap of time. We need to be on our A game tomorrow and hopefully qualify somewhere near the front."

Scott Pye Quote:  "Overall I am pretty happy with the day. In the final session I didn't get a clean lap on the older tyres and did not get a chance to run the 'green' tyre at the end. The MAN Ford performed well so twelfth today on a worn tyre is a promising start."
