Practice Recap: Fabian Coulthard has delighted a 'home'  town crowd today at Pukekohe Park Raceway by scoring second place overall in the MAN Truck & Bus Ford. Teammate Scott Pye capped off a strong day for DJR Team Penske finishing in tenth position.

The day started with a damp track but all cars were soon onto slicks for the rest of the day's running. Coulthard was happy with the car's progress during the day, with only some setup changes in practice 2 slowing his progress.

Pye also made gains and believes he has a good race package in the No 17 MAN Ford for tomorrow. His final practice session was compromised however by mechanical issues that were only identified after the flag had flown to finish the session.

Fabian Coulthard Quote: "It has been pretty good day. The MAN Ford was pretty close from the time we rolled them out this morning. We were able to fine tune it from then which is the most ideal way to tackle practice day, and hopefully we can carry the speed from practice three into tomorrow."

"Qualifying will be critical with this four race format. I've always said that qualifying is the easiest place to pass cars and you normally stay fairly close to the front if you can start there."
