Fabian Coulthard - No. 12 Shell V-Power Racing Ford

Recap: In a damage strewn day of racing in Tasmania, Fabian Coulthard was lucky to get away with as little damage as he did. An enormous crash on lap two saw half the field stopped on track and the race red-flagged. A huge clean-up meant only four laps were completed, crossing the line under safety car. Coulthard's damaged car was repaired by the team in the red-flag period, and was able to take the flag in 10th.

Quote: "I'm so glad to see that everyone got out of that crash, it was enormous. It's a narrow track, and when everyone's fighting for position in wet conditions, things happen. I was lucky not to sustain more damage and if the race hadn't been red-flagged, we wouldn't have finished at all. The boys did an incredible job on the grid fixing the No.12 Shell V-Power Ford, allowing me to take the finish."

Scott McLaughlin - No. 17 Shell V-Power Racing Ford

Recap: McLaughlin experienced a day of highs and lows, taking first in both Practice 3 and Qualifying, starting the race from Pole Position. A poor start dropped him to third, before regaining a position to be 2nd when the multi-car crash blocked the track. A miscommunication on the radio meant McLaughlin entered pit lane under red flag conditions, which dropped him to 14th when the race restarted under Safety Car.

Quote: "That was the weirdest race I've ever been a part of. I completely missed the crash, and was blown away when I saw it. I'm glad everyone got out of it OK. I was stoked to get pole, and the boys gave me a great car and we have something to fight with tomorrow."
